Biography

Dave is a 25 year old drummer based in Surrey, UK. He graduated in 2016 from The Academy of Contemporary Music, Guildford with an Honours Degree in Professional Music Performance, where he studied under Pete Riley (Guthrie Govan, Republica), Georgio Serci (BBC Concert Orchestra, Shirley Bassey, Jools Holland) and Adam Pain (Guitar Techniques and Total Guitar magazines), and now studies regularly under Craig Blundell (Steve Hackett, Steven Wilson).

Dave began playing drums at the age of 11 and quickly acquired a variety of influences ranging from rock to metal and pop to blues. Dave has played in multiple bands: "Mark The Skyline",  "Far Suns Fall", and "Embers & Empires" to name a few. He has gained extensive studio experience throughout his time at The Academy of Contemporary Music and projects since. Dave also has knowledge of songwriting and arranging through work with his bands, personal musical projects and years of studying music. He has show experience from playing "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat" and "We Will Rock You" productions at The Ashcombe School. Dave also played for the Dorking Dramatic and Operatic Societies performances of "A Night Of Sondheim".
